NEVER do business with Martin Property Management! They are slum "landlords" and their properties are unsafe & beyond filthy. They didn't hold up to their part of the lease and didn't do any repairs they had promised to do. DO NOT LIVE in one of their properties or trust your children at Iowa State University to any of their properties either! The location of 2304 Knapp Ave Ames, Iowa is the worst. Thanks for helping us out! – I have worked with the folks in the office for 2 years, paid my rent, let them know when things happen in my place, and they have been great. Ive gone up to pay rent and they have a cool office downtown, on the red route, so that makes it nice. they also helped me sublease my place when I got a JOB! YEAH! so thanks guys! Id rent from martin again anytime!

Beware: unprofessional management company – Renting from Martin Property Management was a very poor decision, and I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for apartments in Ames. They refuse to repair anything or even respond to phone calls about problems, and don't do any basic maintenance on the building. There are plenty of apartments to be had in Ames, so save yourself a year of hassle and aggravation: avoid Martin and look elsewhere.

best apartment place ever – rented from these people for several years. when my boyfriend was trying to get on the lease they helped him fill the right stuff out, and got him on the lease with me. thank GOD for that, cause when he moved out, he was on the hook too, im glad they advised me correctly.
