Went here for a tour on a field trip. What a great time! Very informative and the staff was excellent. It was nice to learn what they do here, the view is amazing!!

As a student of KSU we did a company visit to the quarry today i.e., 09/29/23 and it was really informative to know about the process of mining and what happens there. They shared about their company involvement with community and the history. It's a sweet place, I believe more schools should have visits up there to know about mining industry and process there. You'd learn a lot!!!

I can’t say too much bout this place cause I never been in it, but I live a couple miles away off Hwy 9 and once a week my whole house shakes from their explosions and has for the 18 yrs I’ve lived here. I would think that it’s gotta be causin some kinda foundational issues with my house but can’t really prove that. But hey, they gotta make a livin too. I’ve never had any problems with the drivers that pull in and out of there though!
