He wrote my partner off basically when he presented with severe abdominal pain. We suspected appendicitis, he said nope. He had an enlarged appendix and said he’d check again in a few months. He mentioned he’s seen appendiceal cancer and perfectly healthy people have died from it. Why would you say that? After all that, he basically refused to remove the appendix. Terrible bed side manner. Very cocky. Told me I had cirrhosis without even looking at my blood work, shoved me off with a referral to GI. Told me more people live with than die with it. In the room for maybe 3 minutes. (I do not have cirrhosis btw.)
Could use some continuing education on bedside manner. Came off as very cocky! I sure hope he does ok with my Mom's surgery.
Feb 7 2019 had gallbladder surgery next day I ended up in a lot of pain and tried to contact him no response after three weeks of dealing with my primary care my physician ordered a CT and it showed that I had a bile leak contacted surgeons office and they acted like it was no big deal. Finally got some help from another surgeon who admitted me to the hospital for five days getting iv anabiotic‘s and a drain which drained out 1090 mL please do not goto this surgeon. I work at the same hospital.
Doctor performed hernia surgery on me. The doctor took the time to listen to me and answer all my questions. Very good bedside manner and friendly surgeon.
Excellent doctor! He performed surgery on my husband. He had a warm presence when he walked in the door. I will surely recommend him to others
Very personable, easy to communicate with, and knowledgeable in his field. A pleasure to have know him as my surgeon. Had absolutely NO problems w my surgery and could have worked the very next day if necessary! Best experience ever! I highly recommend Dr Mirra with no reservations!!!!!!!
