Mistakes were found on the appraisal and when we requested them to be fixed and to re-evaluate the comparisons with some we sent they refused to make any changes. They left 3 things off that we had on our home ( marked none) and listed other things incorrectly.

The appraiser came and looked at my property quickly, but after that it was all bad. They weren’t part of the right system for my area, and were calling the landowner for information to get their comps. The landowner questioned why they are bothering him, as he has nothing to do with it. A major argument took place and Martin Appraisal called my lender and said they don’t would not complete the appraisal because Mr. Martin did not like the landowner. We’ve been trying to close on our home, but we are still waiting on our appraisal report. It has been over a month since the appraisal was done, and we have had to do 2 extensions in order to stay in our contract. We have already paid for the appraisal, two weeks after the appraiser couldn’t find comps which was the excuse. The next week the excuse was a broken hip. And since the “broken hip” we’ve been waiting 2 weeks. Don’t waste your time with this one!
