We enrolled our daughter in 2012. At that time she was very shy and unsure of herself. I have seen her confidence grow over the years. She is on her way to receiving her 2nd dan this upcoming May. Master Steinmaier is great with all the kids and makes the classes fun for them. My daughter looks up to him and values his knowledge in making her a better martial artist.
My daughter loves her pre Kyuki-do class! It is helping her with so much now and for later in her life. I'm excited that they offer it for kids her age, she started at 3 1/2. She's been going 2 days a week for about a month, and she is almost ready to graduate to get her first stripe belt! Her instructor Miss Grace is great with the kids, and has so much patience with them! We have to drive from Rockford each class, but it's well worth the money every month! **update! Top notch. You can pay for a place that basically babysits and gives you a belt every month or you can go here where they foster leadership confidence and you create lasting companions. One of the best decisions I've ever made
