Martha’s is THEEEEE best hair salon in Memphis. They are the only place I trust to touch my hair!! Martha is the sweetest woman ever!! The employees will remember you after the 2nd or 3rd time of you going there! They made my daughters so comfortable during their first wash & sets!! My oldest also got her hair braided here multiple times, and they did great! If you want to look and feel amazing, GO TO MARTHAS !!!
I just visited today at the Southaven MS location and they told me they charge extra to detangle my hair, are you crazy. What is the point of coming to salon to have to sit and detangle your own hair and they want charge you $15 and up for it. A blow with trim is $40 ,so $40 +$15 =$55. I wish I would pay my black dollars for the bull ! I detangled my hair in front of them,left the hair in the sink ,and left. Oh! By the way its called conditioning and using a comb. It's my first time going to this little ole place on Kirby and it was only because my mom and sister had gone but those women in there is just old and want to rush through women hair... My hair hasn't been flat ironed in over a year and thought I was going to walk out with something I was pleased with and I'm not pleased at all... My hair has no body to it and the young girl that did it didn't really know what she was doing and also they don't ask questions about your hair they just start doing anything... The salon be a little crowded but they make sure you are satisfied when you leave 😘
I was not a new customer but this time Martha tried to charge me a extra 15$ on my shampoo because she said my hair was tangled. What salon service doesn't come with a comb out after you shampoo someone's hair. Same head of hair since i started coming to this place once every six months but never again. Plus to add im a licensed hair stylist. Not going to be lazy anymore and end up in thr.....

No one answers phone at both locations and they are supposed to open at 10am. I don’t know if the hot lake location is still operational. I been calling for 2 days and nothing!!! So now I am sitting outside the location and the doors are still locked isn’t 10:15
