Mustard greens came out the can, fish was fried so hard I sent it back. Never again!
Wow! This is what real food tastes like. Fried seafood plate is delicious. The flavors of their sauces and dressings are perfectly balanced. Their fried chicken is what all other fried chicken aspires to be. Side note: I am extremely critical of food and usually leave restaurants at least slightly disappointed.
Martha's Bistro is excellent! And I mean no disrespect to my late mother, but John's seafood gumbo is the best I have ever had. Homemade onion rings: awesome! The fried baby back ribs bathed in jalapeno ranch dressing at serving time were so freaking delicious! John, you and your team have a wonderful establishment. Very proud of you, friend.
I ate here today. The resturant is clean, the food is good and the staff is effecient and wonderful. The owner is so sweet she is beautiful inside and out. She makes you want to come back everyday. I am looking forward to going there on the entertainment night. I love this spot.
It is a very good place to eat if you like home cooked food. I recommend that if you are in Zachary La. Check it out. The fried ribs are the best. And the sweet tea is awesome.
Great service and food! It was welcoming and family friendly for families with little kids.
