Sounded like an ok company but they made me go to orientacion in desoto tx in a bus for 9.5 hrs crowded then spent 3 days in orientacion they said everthing was good. then got sent back home cause they couldnt verify one job!! And here i go back home on a bus for 9.5 hrs not cool!! Aint coming back they made me loose my time for nothing...
Recommendednice staff, reasonable routes, great pay, average benefits, easy recruitment process. however get everything in writing, recruiters stretch the truth, then say they never said that... and you lose.

Like any other big company and rob you of miles driven compared to their zip code miles. Averages 250-550 miles per week that you just donate to them.

Great company to work for.. they do what they say to help us... the drivers...with a potential to make a Lot of money... and if you are professional and like to drive safely... Marten is the company to work for.... as I say... The few... the proud... The Marten Drivers!!!!
although my husband and I are fairly new here at Marten, I look forward to driving for this company til I retire. orientation was great, awesome trainers. ready to answer your questions and very nice to say the least. I think it would be great if they had a few trainers to teach or freshen up the skills of the new drivers who haven't much experience on the road, backing up and to relate how important your pre trip is and should be done always before getting into your truck.
I'm starting Orientation Tuesday can't wait to join heard great things about this company
Marten Transport is an amazing company!!! The team in Tomah, WI is very understanding and willing to do whatever to make the driver comfortable. When I told them I was going back to school they sat down with me and implemented a school schedule for me!!! They care about the drivers. To them... we are not just driver, we are family.
