Ridiculous client service from property manager Rani. Never answers any phone call, and miss the site visit without announcing beforehand. Lacking of professionalism that will makes your life and management harder.

I'm a tenant of 1366 W 12th, and I want to compliment Martello and specifically Rani, our recently returned building manager, in the removal of a particularly problematic tenant. This individual lived across the hall from me and was notoriously volatile. She was well known throughout the building as a problem individual. As of this week, she is no longer a resident of our building, for which we have Rani and the team to thank! I'm grateful for the new sense of peace and safety in my home :)

Avoid any Martello managed properties at all costs. Martello is an extremely neglectful slumlord and only cares about owner profits. Multiple buildings in their portfolio have intensive german cockroach infestations (and silverfish and cockroaches) - so much so that residents will mention them in passing when you talk to them. They have a history of having to move tenants from buildings they have left neglected with pests and biohazardous waste to other buildings in their portfolio (that face the same neglect). Rani was amazing, polite and knowledgeable. She was happy to answer all of our questions and she solved all of them patiently 100/10 for her.

Scum. Get the name of your property manager on your building and report them to BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) - that's who gave them their licenses which they don't deserve.
