Absolutely one of the worst Emergency Departments you can go to. Went there three times with kidney and urinary issues. Instead they hit me with contrast dye and two ct scans and ignored my high blood pressures and requests for further testing for infection. Last time I was there they put me in a room with my blood pressures at 200/115 hr 115 and refused to hook up any other monitors or talk to me. They then had security escort me out. Spent 6 days in the short stay wing for an infection in an incision from an appendix surgery. All the way through every RN and CNA was helpful, respectful, and supportive. Everything that the nurses and doctors were doing with my condition during my stay was clearly and completely explained to me in a way that this dumb farm boy could understand. Everything was clean and kept that way by the staff the whole way through. I highly recommend Marshfield Clinic and how they treat and care for their patients.

Avoid this medical facility at all costs. Horrible experience. Family member was there 7 days & even though we were promised communication never got any. When we called to talk to Grandma we were told, "sorry, she's no longer with us". Of course, we assumed the worst. Found out she was transferred to another facility. Without our knowledge. You think they could have led with that?! Pathetic.
