Billing department is awful as others have said. Every bill I have ever gotten has been astronomically higher than I expect, even after insurance. I've had to have my insurance company fight their billing department over disputes. Also, they charge $900 an hour for therapy. It's unfortunate they think mental health is only important for those with money.
Dr Kenneth Stone was (retired) their most wonderful orthopedic surgeon, and the whole staff was nice, helpful, respectful. Physical therapists were nice, and good. The aides run themselves silly for you and know what they're doing. I felt so well cared for. I hope Dr Stone is having a blessed life in Jesus!!!
Appalling Lack of Communication and Compassion from Nursing Staff (Nurse Joslyn) My stepfather recently suffered a stroke and was admitted to Marshfield Medical Center. While some staff were helpful during this incredibly stressful time, our experience was completely derailed by the unacceptable and unprofessional behavior of a nurse named Joslyn. First Uncles care is horrible up there.between nov and now he has been mainly in hospital. Throid issue meds caused him thrush. Spinal surgery went well but then got staff and another med gave him another infection. Should of been getting therapy cause he's weak but nope didn't happen. Now do to staff infection had to have heart surgery cause it was on wires to pace maker. Surgery went good. But next day had to have a debreavement of spine cause staff was on metal in back.
