TAKE RESPONSIBILTY!! I have been a client of Marshfield Animal Hospital for 10 plus years. I have never received anything but top notch service and care.The prices are cheaper than VCA. The entire staff are extremely compassionate and understanding of the needs of my pets. I brought my cat in one night and I did have to wait due to the fact that a dog had come in who had been hit by a car. Marshifeld Animal Hospital I would highly recommend MAH. The care that my cats and dog have received from Dr. Lafabvre is extraordinary. She was so compassionate when we had to put my cat to sleep. She has also taken excellent care of my kitten and my older dog. Everyone in the facility has been warm, friendly and compassionate. My animals are treated very well by everyone there and I could not be happier with the experience I have received.
HORRIBLE VET!!!!! I would NEVER recommend Marshfield Animal Hospital. I took my cat for a sick visit. It took days to get an appt. My cat had not eaten or drank in days and they were so difficult about getting her in. When we finally had an appt, I registered with the front desk. The receptionist told me to get a "handle on myself" as I was crying over my sick pet. The office staff is rude and uncompassionate. Wonderful place, caring people I bring my three cats to Dr. Johnson at this location (or Dr. Barrow if Dr. Johnson isn't available). I am very particular about how vets treat my cats, particularly since they can be very skittish toward strangers. These two doctors, and all of the vet techs and administrative staff, are really very nice and caring. You are late....shame on you I would not recommend this business to anyone. I have used this practice for over 3 years (we have 2 large dogs) and spent thousands of dollars. We have NEVER waited less than 30minutes to be seen and they are extremely expensive. I brought one of my dogs in for an appt and was turned away because I was 8 minutes late. 8 minutes. Left because of their prices and pushing unneeded procedure Good care but way overpriced since they built their new facility. extremely pushy for a not needed procedure to clean my 13 year old pet's teeth which was outrageous to put the dog under anaethesia l was quoted $550+!
Best animal hospital around! This is the friendliest, most caring animal hospital on the south shore! I have been bringing my pets (2 cats and 2 dogs) here for 6+ years and am always greeted by a smiling staff member upon entering the building (they even know each of my pets by name when they see them!). During each office visit, each of the doctors is very thorough--always taking the time to explain what they are doing and their recommendations are always clear and helpful. Dying pet, no compassion I went in here 4 years ago late at night with my 8 year old St. Bernard, who had been ill. I had never dealt with these people before but they were open. I was told starkly and with no compassion that she had cancer and would die, and that I should put her down. This dog was part of my family. MAH Compassion & Competence For many years I have been using MAH .I have little doubt in their ability to diagnose and treat my dogs.I am confident that Dr.Barrow is not only competent and compassionate but a "cutting edge" Vet who is constantly current on the latest avilable diagnostics and procedures.I never have had a poor experience at MAH and have recommended them frequently to friends who were also very pleased with their pets care.
