I've talked about going to Marshall University since i was 14.
As being a student who had come to Marshall without ever visiting or being in the Huntington area, I can say that the university is decent. Emphasis on decent. They do offer a fair amount of options and events for students, but I think most of the things Marshall does can be done in more efficient ways. That being said, I still think that Marshall should be a bit more courteous to its students. Like for example... the bad snow storms we've been getting. Need for 2 hour delays, at least. Graduated in December of 1990
I'm attending Marshall this fall and I'm hoping to meet a lot of new people while gaining this wonderful education.
I loved my time at Marshall. The people of Huntington were very kind to the students, and made us part of the community. The faculty was excellent and truly cared about the students. I had a fabulous experience and made many life long friends. The people of West Virginia will always be near to my heart . Go Herd !

I too loved Marshall. I went there from 1964 through 1969 and received a nursing degree and almost completed a BS in Journalism as well, but went away to get married!
