Paddleboarded here in March 2026. Nice quiet place but quite a bit of trees and logs in the water. I think my fin extends maybe about 8" in the water and I hit a number of times. (The water level did look pretty low though). There are also quite a few branches and trees to duck under (I did have to go on my knees at one point but for the rest, I was able to stay standing and just duck). Nice place to launch a kayak!
I have hunted and fished across Florida as a hobby! This is a great example of a Florida park. Bring your kayak and spend the day! LET MAJORS DO IT
I wish they would unlock the gate again so we could drive our kayaks/Goboats down. The launch is very far from parking. Not sure why they don't unlock the gate anymore.
