AWFUL. The most condescending person I have EVER met. I was in the ER just days before and got all kinds of tests that showed severe gynecological issues but she dismissed all of my concerns by talking to me as if I was a 4 year old about how periods work, while the doctors at the ER urged me to get tested for ovarian cancer. She absolutely refused any blood work or ultrasound and said that I am fine and the only person who can explain my symptoms is me because my tests are normal. I am at a dead end after 10 years of pain a... read more
My mom has been seeing Dr. Marsh for almost as long as she’s been in practice and I’ve been seeing her for around ten years. Both of us have always had a great experience with her!
I have been seeing Dr Marsh for years and I highly recommend. I love her efficiency with the exams and procedures, coupled with her straight forward, yet compassionate consultation. She has always taken ample time to discuss any questions or concerns until I’m at ease.
I would never go to Dr. Marsh for GYNO issues after my experience with her at a follow OB visit. I have a spinal injury and I started to have nerve and spinal pain just recently so it would be the perfect time to discuss PT. I was warmly dismissed and told it was normal pregnancy issues and it was going to just get worse. I requested tips or resources to find tips to get relief (I am struggling to continue to work at only 25 weeks!) and was still dismissed. I have like all the other OBs at NW.
I was worried to see dr marsh after reading the reviews. I guess you either love her or don’t, but I had a great experience for my annual and will be seeing her for my recent pregnancy. She’s a straight shooter, which is ideal for me given my history of miscarriages. I need someone who isn’t going to sugar coat anything and tell it like it is. Surprises are the worst. I found her to also be compassionate and give amazing advice regarding my toddler son!
Seriously, she is wonderful. Professional yet friendly, and puts you completely at ease. I had an IUD removed and a new one inserted, which can be very painful, but she was able to do it quickly and efficiently. No idea how people could leave a bad review for her... she is a great doctor with a (hard-to-find) warm bedside manner. Highly recommend!
I recently had a procedure performed by Dr. Marsh. She was very upbeat, efficient, and walked me through her every move. She even called me personally to inform me of test results. During the call, she recommended I eat health, get lots of rest, and take a multivitamin. I think I found a keeper! :-)
After seeing Dr. Marsh at Northwestern OB Wheaton, I immediately switched practices. She was not professional or compassionate. She did not seem sympathetic to my concerns about my pregnancy. I went to see her when I was 10 weeks pregnant & she did not mention or offer the option for the 1st trimester screening, so not informative at all. Couldn't imagine being comfortable with these doctors for the remainder of my pregnancy and delivery.
I was a little worried after I made my apt for abdominal pain and read the ratings. I saw her today and found her to be very pleasant and explained everything to me. I thought she was very helpful.
