We attempted to purchase tickets for the mansion tour and left refusing to be humiliated. The woman saw we had 3 children (who have done many historical tours and been great on them) and said that we wanted the farm tickets. When we said we wanted to do the mansion tour she kept telling us that while kids are welcome we really didn’t want that one. She did all she could to refuse us without saying no. This is a very beautiful park. We toured the home and the Park employee was very knowledgeable and friendly. The home is beautiful and the history behind is very interesting. I recommend it.
Ranger Mary was a lovely guide on Saturday with a new group of junior rangers. She was incredibly informative as well as patient. Thank you!
