I just met with Jesus and Adrian at Marroquin-- I walked in with a couple sagging cushions and some photos of our tired-looking sofa, and walked out with an education and a new appreciation for businesses that still treat customers like "the old days"! I had detailed questions as to sofa construction including springs, decking and types of cushion fill. Based on slick advertising we chose this place for a minor upholstery job. We were sadly disappointed. The charge was substantial (and I'm sure the work was amortized into one of the lucrative designer projects being completed). The cushions on my chairs consistently slip and fall out of place. In addition, Mr. Marroquin was very arrogant.

I can’t say enough good things about Marroquin Upholstery— this family has been making hand carved custom furniture for generations, and hands-down the best in Dallas and one of the very best in the country. They just did a pair of custom mohair ottomans for me, based on a sketch I drew when I couldn’t find what I wanted, and I’m thrilled. They are perfect.
