Really happy with this hotel location, staff and LOVE that the rooms are renovated with NO carpet. That is so ideal
Valet guy on duty at 10pm 4/4, was great. The check in staff was meh. The room was clean. The breakfast needs improvement. The elevators were dirty and no sign of a clean 2 days later. Two candy wraps in my elevator lobby x 2 days. The foyer as one enters the lobby was dusty AF! Overall the hotel seemed dark outdated and far from my cleaning standards or Marriots. Overall staff seemed unhappy. Exception, breakfast staff.
First, this place is clean and well located. Housekeeping does an amazing job - no hyperbole. They have to because this place is a polished turd. The desk staff is polite in the very southern way we expect in the south. However, they are also unable to deliver on promises. The free wifi was not free, and even after informing the desk we were supposed to have free wifi, the pay screen blocked out access. The lobby furniture is shabby and uncomfortable.
