I love Marriott properties. . .usually. When reservations were needed for out-of-town guests, I immediately selected the Downtown Marriott because of its proximity to certain facilities. I should have done more research by visiting the hotel personally. If I had, I would have seen that the front doors, windows, and outside entreway needed cleaning and the stains on the back of chairs in the lobby.
