I got to one star this hotel, they only have 1 working elevator and a full house. No signs out saying there’s one elevator and you aren’t allowed to use the stairs unless it’s an emergency. Expect to wait 10-15 minutes in line like a Disney Land ride to get to your room. In addition, it’s a typical Marriott claiming 4 star service/product but is really just a 2 star in disguise. Loud. Teens all over the hotel yelling. Elevators full of loud teens and it took forever to get an elevator. Out of control chaos. Front desk staff were rude. location was less than ideal - homeless park just around the bend. St. Louis is depressed and impoverished. please skip this city and this hotel all together.
Horrible. Never again. I'll start with the pros; we had luggage we had to take up while trying to juggle two people's luggage and a crutch. We did get help bringing it upstairs which was nice. That's it. Cons: pillows were flat, so much it felt like sleeping directly on the mattress without anything. Thin blankets with almost no help. After getting soaked by the rain, not a comforting experience. Long lines for check in without assistance or places to sit while we wait. Only ONE desk helping common folk.
