Scheduled an appt with Brian through their website. It did not say he wasn’t not taking any new cases. He emailed asking me for more information as to why I’m requesting therapy. I gave him my, the whole long story of me and my husband. Heard nothing aback until the day before our scheduled appointment that he is not taking on any new cases. The last two weeks we thought we had appointment. Very misleading. I wouldn’t have wasted my time telling him my background if he already knew he wasn’t taking any new cases.
We met with Julia Bagley for marriage counseling. She seems like a very nice person, but she was terrible in our marriage counseling. The sessions weren't balanced in terms of time & attention paid to each of us. She put words in my mouth. Once she asked me how I felt about something and I paused (trying to think of the right words & to avoid crying) and she threw out the word "disappointed" and then proceeded to lecture me that disappointment was what marriage was about, as though I was a child and what had happened in our ... read more
