Marquis Asset Management needs to be held accountable for the mismanagement happening at Wesley Square Apartments—especially under the leadership of Property Manager Deaonca Bouguere. Earlier this month, my apartment flooded with brown water from above, destroying my children’s beds, clothes, and toys. Nope! They’ve had more managers here in my 3 years of living here than I’ve had partners! They claim that your rent is one price but then charge you $200 or more on the water bill, which they combine with your rent. I contacted the utility company about the price of the water bill and was told that they divide the water bill evenly into however many units are in that building. My building has 4 units, so my bill should have gone up or down when I was the only tenant in that building but it did not. Then I got two neighbors a... read more
