RecommendedSo far staff has been very helpful and friendly glad this facility was available for my MIL.
Certainly would not recommend this place! My mom passed there. Her wedding rings were on her fingers when she passed and suddenly they were gone. It's a long story, but we know they were stolen from her fingers AFTER she passed when family was grieving and not in the room. You can not trust anyone! It was reported to the Ishpeming Police Dept and received no help! There are security camera's in the facility that were never looked at. My family is still livid after almost two years.
RecommendedMy brother has been at MCMCF for several years. It is the best place ever! The people are fabulous, they know their residents and call them by name. They are caring and compassionate. There is a family atmosphere there that I have not seen other places. I would not hesitate to recommend MCMCF to anyone in search of a quality nursing home.
There are only 23 reviews from this year and of them, only 5 actually wrote comments. The others just gave 5 stars and a majority (almost all) are from staff or management or friends/family members of management. There is a huge nepotism problem there. It's a proven fact. More to come on that some other time. Now if management has someone, family, friend or family friend in mind for a particular job there, beware you'll be the next one ousted even if you have a spotless record with multiple years of service. My mom was a resident at county twice for rehab and my family and I could not have been more pleased with the care and compassion that she was shown...so when the time came when we could no longer take care of her at home and we needed help for her final days there was no question as to who we would entrust her care...thank you to all who had a hand in her care, words cannot express mine and my family's gratitude
