Went to Dr. Maroney after a disappointing experience with another local doctor. I was very impressed with the staff and the efficiency of the whole operation. I have a couple of ongoing medical conditions that Dr. Maroney addressed with concern and care. As far as her bedside manner is concerned I personally would much rather have a doctor who will tell the real truth and not sugar coat her diagnosis with platitudes. I have never been disappointed with her conduct nor the conduct of her staff.
Totally Arrogant, Poor bedside manor. She knows it all, will not consider other options in treatment. She is only in it for the dollar....
Going to Dr. Maroney was a complete waste of time. Not only did she not help me, she refused to even consider other possible causes for my symptoms, one of which ultimately turned out to be the cause (after I saw another doctor who was very good). Dr. Maroney rushes patients in and out of her clinic (more $$ to be made that way, I guess), she does not listen well, she is arrogant, and she is not competent. I would never go back to her, nor would I recommend her to a friend. Stay away!
My husband and I both see Dr Maroney and we love her. She is very thorough and professional. She is very knowledgeable and shares that with us. Would recommend her to everone.
I would not at all recommend this Dr. to anyone. TERRIBLE bedside manner. No real care at all if you leave or stay being a patient of her's. Will not give you a referral to a specialist. Talks over you when you try to explain your health issues.
I was contacted by the Dr's office to come in for a semi-annual check up on cholesterol levels. Went in on Friday for blood work and had a Monday appt. Had to move the Monday appt due to work commitments to Tuesday. Arrived on time for 2pm appt on Tuesday, waited one hour and 3 minutes before being told by a nurse the doctor had left for the day. On a positive note, my copay was refunded.
Dr. seems to have very poor bed side manner. I have diabetes and she never talked about my health. She refused to refill prescriptions I have been on for 25 years. I have had a gastric bypass and she wouldn't do blood work to check vitamin levels, which caused problems. When I made an appointment to discuss these problems she stated she was not a nutritionist, was not a psychiatrist and when I asked for referrals she refused. Waking out of the office I decided I was not going back .
Very smart M.D..I am 80 year old retired attorney and have been to many Doctors in my life. I have found my best Doctor ever?so glad
The nurses talk about the patients and can be heard into the exam room. They seem to have an attitude the minute they walk into examine you. I went in with stomach pain and the doctor never touched my belly. Very unprofessional.
