Dr. Matthews is a board-certified ophthalmologist. In ‘2020 I was referred to her by my optometrist for a consultation regarding cataract surgery. Before making an appointment to see Dr. Matthews I did my homework. Her professional credentials are outstanding. I will find a new eye doctor
Dr. Bansagi is great. But his staff drags him down. They are rude and they cheat on appointments. They change appointments to make it look like they're meeting on-time requirements and don't notify the patient of the change. The result is you get to wait an extra 30 minutes. What's worse is you bring it up to them and they really don't care. One of their technicians told me it wasn't her fault or her problem. So I left and won't return.
DR MATTHEWS IS ACTUAL EXCELLENT JOB FOR ME TO EXAMINE TO LOOK MY EYES .
I had eye muscle surgery with Dr. Ludwig March 2022. I went to her because of my double vision. My double vision since the surgery has been much worse. I recently went to Mayo Clinic to discuss what to do next and they could not believe what Ludwig had chosen to do to my eyes considering my diplopia. I now have to have corrective surgery where they will also do what Ludwig should have done in the first place. The poor surgical results is one thing, but Dr. Ludwig does not listen to her patients. Our appointment was at 10:20 and here we are 12:30 and still waiting. My sons dilation will probably wear off before he’s seen. She wouldn’t listen to what I was trying to explain and ASSUMED my son had autism without even looking at the chart to see he has Down syndrome. She was very impatient and her bedside manner needs to improve especially if she is working with children.
Dr Bansagi has performed cataract procedure on both eyes. While I’m sure the results are common the doctor is the difference. I would trust this doctor with everything related to my vision. I have complete confidence in him. His staff is completely competent and has a patient oriented manner. Efficiency is a way of life for this practice. I love this doctor!
My 6 year old had a first appointment with her and she was great but 4 hours wait time. We were told it was only this long for the first appointment but unfortunately second time we saw her, it was over 2 hrs wait. We appreciate her thoroughness but I can't continue bringing my son here because if the long wait. It seems to me they are overbooking patients and it's just not worth it??
Entering into a decision to remedy cataracts in both eyes was made much easier and comforting after visiting Dr. Bansagi and his team at Eye Center South. He is a most wonderful doctor and extremely caring person. He provided an extremely high level of confidence in making the decision to undergo the surgery.
