We have had an absolutely terrible experience with Marlin - I cannot express that enough. When you have a loan with a company, you'd hope they'd be responsive to your requests for providing you with the bare-bone basics; our loan agreement, monthly statements, and year-end tax document for filing our taxes. We had to file for an extension due to the lack of response from Marlin. We still have not received what we need after numerous phone calls and emails. no one answers the phone....I've spent 3 days trying to get a hold of them and still haven't to this date. I will never use them again.

I had a problem with Marlin with reference to interest charges on my invoice that I was not made aware of. After not being able to resolve the issue with the guy who processed my paperwork, I contacted multiple places (including the BBB) to express my dissatisfaction with Marlin and their billing practices, I immediately received a telephone call from Corporate and they diligently worked to rectify the problem. I had signed a lease contract with this company through a representative. The product I was sent was not what I was promised. It was only eight days from signing the lease agreement. I called Marlin to see if I can break the contract. A representative Lauren told me she would leave a message with Jeff, and he would get back to me. I wish I would have read reviews on this company prior to entering a contract with them. We are now being charged thousands for 6 phones that cost $120 each... There is nothing about early termination of the contract. There is only "YOU ARE SCREWED AND WE ARE TAKING ALL OF YOUR MONEY."There is no benefit to the consumer. And it is in fact true that they constantly charge fees and late charges, etc. I intend to have a lawyer look into to see if there is anything we can do.

This company is a pariah, excessive late fee charges and added taxes to it. Do not recognize when amount due is on the weekend to extend it to a Monday. What we were told verbally and what happened after is simply not the same, ask all the needed questions, ask to see the contract and read the fine print before signing it otherwise you're done for. Nothing but bad experience and bad customer service, the worst lending company ever. I will never do business with them or recommend them to anyone.

Stay clear of this company! Supposed to have been charged about 6% interest rate. When they set up my lease they show the total due and it was double what the equipment cost!! I made one payment on the due date but in the evening and they charged a late fee of $50! Recently after having the lease for 2.5 years I see a new charge of a little over $200. This has to be the worst outfit ever to try to work with. I had unknowingly signed a contract to pay $110 /month for 5 years. it was not disclosed to me the terms until after I had signed to get a voip phone system from for a 2 person office. I looked on ebay, they have the same system for $86. flat. I operate a small clinic in the DFW area. This is the worse company I have ever done business with. They forged my wife's signature on a rental document and used a different pen to sign it on a different date. Then we started receiving harassing calls in the office. My lawyer is working on suing them. If you value your peace of mind, do not let a representative from Marlin come into your office, all they need is a signed document and they will take it from there and bill you for stuff you never signed up for.
