What a great experience I had at Marlene's. Not only did we buy one of the best dresses in her store but my daughter won prom queen. We have been buying 8th grade dresses, homecoming and prom dresses for the past 5 years and have never been disappointed. Thanks again for helping us find the perfect dress for the perfect night!

Never imagined my senior prom experience to start with the owner screaming in my mother's face calling her awful names in front of other customers. Though the owner's helper was very sweet to me, I will never again recommend this place to anyone. To THINK that I ever told my friends to buy from here disturbs me.

Jessica so sorry you feel this way. You had a problem with the seamstress and because of the owner it was straightened out after your mother yelled as well. You both left apologizing as did the owner and you and your mom hugged everybody and couldn't thank us enough for working this out so really all the negative reviews your friends are leaving over an incident they weren't even there to witness disturbs us. Again very sorry you feel this way.
Customer service is terrible. Do not recommend. Do yourself a favor and do not buy your daughter's prom dress here.

It's a real shame that people give a 1 star review on a situation that they were not there to witness. I understand that friends stick together but there's always two sides to a story. Maybe it would be nice to get facts together before you give negative comments to a business that has been around for 33 years. We must be doing something right!
Can I tell you how AMAZING the 2 ladies in there tonight were with helping my daughter find her Sr. Prom dress! Top notch!!!! Wish I found you sooner!!!
Today walked into marlenes..terrible..awful..grotesque..Was told (in a ignorant voice) I didn't have shoes on when I obviosusly knew I wasn't wearing any shoes..sickening..they closed at 4 and we were rushed out by 3:20..could get better service at a dominos..I'd rather stitch my dress by hand then buy one from there..I highly recommend not going there.
