I have been seeing Dr. Marlene for close to a year now and her professional help has bettered and saved my life. I met her through Teledoc. I took a chance with a psychiatrist at the ripe age of 35. I have never been on psychiatric medication until now, and I can’t believe I allowed myself to suffer with depression for years when help was there all along. She works with her patients, adjusts and finds the right fit for you. She is honest and holds you accountable. I am grateful to have finally found the help I needed.
Was not transparent from the very start of initial Teledoc visit that she does mainly medication reconciliation and not talk therapy. She revealed this 30 mins in to a 45min visit, after asking many personal questions. She then offered to refer me to a third-party talk-therapist. It would have been kind and professional to mention this split-model at the start of the session. I met her when I was going through one of the worst periods of my life. Via Teladoc- she is AMAZING! She helped me come out of a dark place I didn’t know how to on my own. And to be honest I would go back and see her again if I had to do it all over. Thank god we met when we did. She’s professional kind and compassionate. 10 out of 10 would recommend her to anyone! Not to mention she is consistent and attentive, which if we’re being real is hard to find these days. Every visit shes there and remembers you.
Dr. Aking has been absolutely amazing with helping my mental health and getting my mind on the right path. We have worked together through a lot of hard times in my life recently and I wholeheartedly trust her to help me along the way.
I could not be happier. I was NOT well when I met Dr. King the first time. She knew exactly what to do and I have not felt this good in YEARS. And the feeling good happened in less than two weeks. She checks in regularly and has never missed an appointment. Very caring, and knowledgeable.
