Dr. Markus is a quality, intelligent, compassionate, friendly, to-the-point surgeon. Like everyone else, he called me the day after surgery to check on me and offer some additional medical advice. I trust him, totally. I have had no post-op issues and will rely on him in the future if need be. Great Doctor!!!
Dr Markus gave me advice and a referral that potentially saved my life. I'd been have chest pain and exhaustion and had gone to the Heart Hospital of Austin. They didn't seem to think it was very serious, despite my protestations, and just prescribed more tests in a month, I presume because I looked fine. "Ok, if I'm still alive then, I'll take the test". Dr Markus just happened to walk into my office for computer service, and listened and told me to take it serious and to see his cardiologist. I went to his recommended card... read more
Great doctor, great guy. I've had 2 surgeries with him and he called me personally the next day to check on me. He spent as much time as I needed to answer questions and was very personable. Hopefully will not need another surgery but if I do, I'll call him.
