Eric, the estimator for Mark's Tree Service, came out a gave me a quote for a job. I told him that I wanted to take advantage of the 10% off coupon posted in the ****** ***** ***** Sunday newspaper and Eric reply that he's not going to honor it. That he's given me a good offer anyway. I informed him that the coupon is why I called him in the first place. We parted ways. Quite disturbing to advertise and not to honor what caused a person to call.
I hired Mark's trees a few years back to remove a few trees and to trim a few others (also some basic landscaping) His work crew did the work to my satisfaction and I paid the agreed price in cash to avoid sales tax (his idea not mine). THIS IS WHEN THE PROBLEMS STARTED! On the day his crew was finishing he sent an employee to my door to hand me an additional $300 bill, when I asked why he said I had added additional work , which I had not!
