**Solid Jamaican food, disappointing service - 4/5 Stars** Visited Mark’s Place and Restaurant for takeout and had a mixed experience. We ordered oxtail stew, curry chicken, jerk chicken, rice and peas, and fried plantain. **Food Quality:** The food was well-prepared with everything coming out moist and tender. This place is a secret treasure!! Absolutely phenomenal food, I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone. My boyfriend (a food connoisseur) said it was “so good he wished he had room for me” and went so far as to compliment the lovely staff. Do yourself a favor and give it a try! If I was local I’d be here weekly!!

First time I’ve ever had pineapple chicken wings, and I am HOOKED! I definitely want to come back and try the Jerk Chicken Alfredo that everyone’s talking about. Also, the staff is very warm and welcoming.

Don't walk-run. Best plates of jerk and curry I've ever had. If u love Mac and cheese, then buy 2. U will inhale the 1st one. They even have homemade sorrel, peanut punch and ginger juice. Other beverages and dessert. They even make catering size platters or holiday meals! Last year, it was jerk turkey at my house!!!! Ask for Paula! Tell her Kenzie sent ya!!!
