My new shop!!!! I was so tired of the run around and the expense of taking my car to the dealership, but upon speaking with a sales guy at the dealership (I won't say which one :-), I promised), he actually told me to see Mark because I could get the same quality workmanship, original parts, for about half the price he was quoting me. You're taking a risk with these guys Mark's Japanese has 4 locations now (plus a transmission business). I've been to the Redmond and Kirkland locations with my vehicles. Mark's direct mail has a very genuine "I'm on your side" message, proclaiming "No Lattes, No Marble Floors, No Flat Screens", so I assumed I'd save money and get good quality and service. User review by bghgary – I took the car in for an oil change and rear brake pads for my '96 Nissan Maxima. He inspected the car and told me that he should replace the rotors, the struts, front and rear brake pads, repair a minor leak, and change dirty brake fluid. In the end, I decided not to make these repairs and just do the oil change. Less than one minute after I left the shop, the brake warning light came on.
