My experience with Markham Psycologists clinic has been positive in the past with other practioners. However, I had a terrible experience working with Dr. Valoo. I reached out to her for couples counselling because of an ongoing conflict over one sensitive topic between my husband and me. She conducted separate sessions first and then couples sessions. I have been seeing Dr Valoo for about 4 years! She is a dedicated phycologist taking my therapy very seriously! Has helped me immensely with Post Trama, Major depression and Adhd. I look forward to every session and move forward everyday with positive intentions.
This review is long overdue but better now than later. Do not attend this office after reading this. I have been seeing Dr. Richard Amaral since 2019, and he helped me in the past however recently I would not recommend him at all. I suffer from several mental health (invisible) disabilities and in the past, I have been approved SunLife LTD (long-term disabilities), and in January 21, 2021 I was approved my WSIB claim for psychological trauma against my former employer because of the workplace harassment I went through.
