i have a horrible experience during recent visit. During my visit, the receptionist informed me that my nine-digit Alberta Health card number was invalid, stating that it should be ten digits. I asked her to verify this with Alberta Health. She then used her personal cell phone to take a photo of my Alberta Health card and sent the image via text message to a contact in order to confirm the information. I am not comfortable with my personal health information being collected or shared in this manner.
