The LeJeune Family began To sell fresh Gulf seafood and southern specialties in February of 2004. By 2007 the LeJeune's enclosed their patio to put in an open kitchen in order to cook the best seafood gumbo and fried Gulf Seafood the area had to offer.

Yum!! – Can you say "Yummy"???!!!!!! I have never in my life had a better Poboy. The amount of shrimp you get on the Poboys is ridiculous! Try the Combo Poboys and get both Oysters & Shrimp! The Gumbo is also to die for! Great food and Friendly Staff!

Overrated – I have a feeling most of the positive reviews below have been written by friends of the owners. I had high expectations when I stopped by last week, but I was disappointed by the texture and temperature of my food. The food's so-so. The service is okay. There are better ways to spend your hard-earned cash.

Great Place for Seafood – Spotted it from the road on our way to Gulf Shores, AL. Stopped for lunch and found the prices to be very reasonable. You enter on one side for cooked food and the other side to buy fresh seafood. We had to sit on the side where they sell the fresh seafood but that is not a bad thing. The food was fresh, hot and very tasty. Having grown up on the gulf coast I know good seafood. After having come on down here to Gulf Shores I now know just how reasonable their prices are, fresh shrimp are 3-5 dollars less at Market by the Bay and the same goes for sandwiches and gumbo.

Caution on the Fresh Shrimp – I purchased fresh schrimp on 8 Sept 2009, after steaming the texture and taste were bad.

Best seafood!! – great place for seafood. Never had a bad meal. The seafood platter is the best!! You get everything! Be prepared tp not be in a hurry to get your food, it is not McD's. Good food takes time.
