I reached out to this practice as a transfer patient for my teenage daughter to simply have her braces removed. Her treatment had been completed at the previous ortho, she just needed her braces removed and a retainer. Upon them reassuring me they could assist, they requested ALL of her records from the previous ortho, and of course that was no problem. My daughter attended her appointment less than 10 minutes and I was then told by the "assistant" that my daughter would be required to do an additional 4 months of treatment ... read more

I’m sorry you feel that way. Your daughter’s treatment is not complete. In every transfer we take new appropriate records, including x-rays in order to make sure of the health of the teeth before touching a patient. I saw what needed to be completed and we calculated the number of months of treatment and added to that the cost of removal of the braces, fabrication of retainers, and LIFETIME follow up (as we do with all patients). RecommendedExperience was amazing! My daughter was nervous at first but they reassured her and made her feel comfortable.
my son and I came in, and they basically denied us right away, I guess assuming with the insurance we had we were unable to afford it...made me feel pretty low, especially to talk about finances and costly items in front of others children, highly disrespectful. thankfully, Dr.Brinley in Maryville is in the business for the right reasons, and helped us set up a plan.
We love Markarian Orthodontics. Our oldest daughter is finished and absolutely loves her smile. She worked there in their intern program as well. She said it was an amazing experience. Our second daughter is excited to see her new smile as she patiently waits for the reopening of office to get her braces off. And our son is ready to start there with Invisalign very soon. Doctor Markarian and every person there is very knowledgeable and truly cares for their patients. 💙

We are so happy we decided to have both of our daughters, Lissette and Emily get their braces here. The staff are so thoughtful and kind and the doctor is an amazing doctor. They make sure the job gets done right. I would absolutely 100% recommend this place to anyone!

I’m 24 and have been going to Dr. Markarian since I was 12 years old. Through broken brackets and dog-eaten retainers, they are the best! Markarian Orthodontics truly goes above and beyond and I’d recommend them to anyone.
