Dr. Westerfield worked at our practice when he first started out, so I can speak from personal experience about what a high quality evaluator he is. Families always spoke positively about their work with Mark. His evaluations were thorough and he communicated clearly to parents and schools. When we get calls from families on the peninsula who need an evaluator, Mark is always on our list of suggestions.

Mark is an exceptional Clinical Psychologist. My son goes to Palo Alto High School and after a push from his tutor to have Max evaluated we went to Mark based on a recommendation from another parent who. I was initially quite skeptical but having been through the process with Mark I now see the value in this. It is amazing how much Mark was able to evaluate and understand from a set of tests and interviews with me, Max's tutor and teachers. My experience here was okay. Very okay. I wanted to have an experience that was good, good for my mental health and learning. But it honestly wasn't really. I felt like I needed someone who related to me and I didn't feel it here. I felt as if my evaluator was putting me down and dismissing my feelings and honestly it still effects me now knowing that I won't trust people especially not evaluators.
