The best psychiatric doctor I’ve ever had. Dr Townsend is very nice and understanding, and listens to you and is willing to try different treatments to heal your depression. Unfortunately, he left LSU Behavioral Sciences Center and moved elsewhere. I miss him so much as a doctor.
Violates confidentiality. Misdiagnosis and overmedicated. He was told to stop talking to people without consent and he continued and later admitted it was a "mistake." LSUHSC has problems with keeping patient information confidential.
