My Mark Spain realtor was personal, yet professional. Although I did not receive a cash offer (despite being guaranteed one by their print and tv ads), my home was sold in a reasonable amount of time, and for a good market price. A guaranteed cash offer was why I chose Spain to begin with. I needed a quick sell and didn't want to deal with showings, etc. All is well that ends well, however the absence of the "guaranteed" cash offer, is why I am only giving them four stars, instead of five.
They lowball Minority sellers. Offering way less for their houses.
Our agent did not do his job, and the "no haggle offer" is basically just them emailing house pictures to OpenDoor, and whoever else buys houses. We had our eyes on a house to purchase and after we received a lowball offer, our agent refused to send a counter offer after saying he would do so. We lost the new house because our agent never contacted the investor back, so 5 days later we called and he informed us he didn't counter and had no intention to.
