RUN. Don't use Mark Spain, save yourself the stress. We were working with Chris Hightower who was unprofessional and did not communicate well or often enough. Chris did not make us feel secure in the process and continually dropped the ball. I had to text him multiple times to get any bits of information--when he'd call me or when I'd call him, he was always on the road (literally driving so he couldn't check his phone for answers) or picking his kids up. I heard all of the "Mark Spain" advertisements about their marketing, being able to get an offer for a seller, etc. So, I gave them a shot. This past Monday two of their agents showed up and the lady (Celina) had a notepad in her hand with property notes. The first thing Celina says is, "So I see that the home has carpet, vinyl, and asphalt flooring..." (with her head down looking at her notes). I would like to retract my previous review. William Cloud did reach out to me and was very personable and helpful.
Very disappointed with Service. I reached out to listing agent William Cloud many times to see about scheduling a showing for what is possibly our dream home and NEVER heard a word back. I was connected with the Main office where I was connected with a Buyers agent that was not any help either. We have been looking to move onto the Cotee River for years and houses become available rarely. After buying a home we will be looking to sell our home. We will not be going with Mark Spain Real Estate.
