Dr Mark Shekhman is a great Surgeon. I picked him because I retired from the hospital and had seen his name come up many times in a positive way. I knew he was a good Surgeon. He did both my hip surgeries, posterior approach. He did a fantastic job, and my scars are barely noticeable. My left hip was done in 2024, and my right hip was done only 10 weeks ago. On 11/16/21 I had a total robotic knee replacement by Dr. Shekhman in Hartford hospital surgery center. A few things happened like I was billed for group Physical therapy when I had individual therapy . I got that credited to me later. The doctor refused to keep me I. The hospital for a few days as I was in rough shape and could not walk. I asked and told my insurance would only pay for over night. Dr. SHECKMAN SAW ME FOR KNEE INJURY. I WAS SO PLEASED TO HAVE HIM FOR MY ORTHOPEDIST. HE IS SO KIND THOUROUGH AND PLEASANT. SEEMS LIKE A WONDERFUL AND PATIENT DOCTOR.
Dr. Shekhman was extremely professional during my whole procedure. He covered all the bases. He didn’t miss any details. I felt extremely comfortable with him during the entire procedure. I am totally satisfied with the results.
