I can't say enough good things about Dr. Schachman. His chair-side manner is by far the best I have encountered - he is extremely attentive, polite and makes sure to keep you informed through the entire root canal process. He is very gentle, and makes every effort to make it a pain-less experience. I have had 3 root canals with Dr. S and would never go anywhere else.
Called the office and was told a molar root canal would cost between \$1300 and \$1500. When I arrived for my appointment I asked again and the receptionist (who I think is this guys wife) said it would cost \$1500. When I reminded her of our telephone conversation, she claimed she never said \$1300. I told her I would go somewhere else and she said: "Fine." Luckily, I know a great endodontist in Ridgewood, NJ who was able to take me right away and doesnt jack up the fee when you arrive at the office. I just didnt want to tr... read more
