***DR. KATZ*** I had an appointment today and was seen by Dr. Katz after X-rays were completed on my wrist. While Dr. Katz did examine my wrist and explain what he believed the issue was, the overall interaction was extremely disappointing. My sister went in for help from where the hospital had messed her wrist up and he completely dismissed everything she was saying and said he wouldn’t treat her. AFTER he pressed down with force on her wrist where it hurts and made her CRY! He should lose his doctorate if this is how he treats people coming to him for help.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I tried to explain that after having my son, they hit a tendon while placing my IV. I had pain the same day and I’m still dealing with pain now. Instead of listening or showing concern, he was very dismissive of my pain. Was referred to Dr. Katz through workman’s comp for a radial head fracture. From the moment he came in the room he was very off putting and acted annoyed at me for following advice from other doctors to keep my arm in the sling and not getting there sooner (which was entirely out of my control due to workman’s comp). When we told him the advice from another OrthoCarolina doctor we saw three days prior he cut us off saying “he’s not a doctor”. I got checked out, fractured hand with breakage and got put in a soft cast and was denied service everytime i went and everywhere else i went too, dr kats was VERY rude and rough on my hand, would not recommend to anyone in the hickory area, its been 3 months now and i still cant get service, yall need to get real doctors not doctors who believe in malpractice, here is a picture of my hand, notice the (now healed) giant bump?
