I called New York Health for an appointment because I was in much back pain. They provided me with an appointment that day. Dr Jagust whom I respect very much examined me while standing, giving me commands to bend left, bend to the right, all the while observing my muscles. He determined that many muscles from my Glutes up to my upper back were in spasms. We discussed a plan of action with meds , ice, and heat. The doctor was excellent; however, my overall experience with the practice was frustrating. I was often seen by different physician assistants, and each had a different perspective on my condition, which made my care confusing and inconsistent. Additionally, the call center experience was extremely poor. Messages were frequently not relayed to my doctor, and I was often placed on hold for 30 minutes to over an hour without receiving the assistance needed to schedule appointments.
