Heard his practice was great, and I needed a new dentist (my old one retired). Very professional, knows what he's doing, and doesn't try to push the patient into a lot of gimmicks.
Let me first start by saying that in my opion, generally I HATE DENTIST! It is a profession fraught with Masochist, Evil people who deliver extreme, soul stealing pain to innocent people for their own joy and profit. But with that being said I have to say I LOVE Dr. Mark J. Merrit. With my engrain distrust of most dentists he totally gave me the very best experience I have ever had, and that was having a moller extraction! He and Sharon make a great team.
Merritt Mark J Dds is a savior! A truly talented, ethical dentist I wore braces as a teen and my teeth were moved too quickly, resulting in short roots. In my late thirties all of my front teeth became loose and threatened to fall out. It was very emotional for me. The first dentist I went to in the area told me to mortgage my home or cash out a 401K to pay for what insurance wouldn't cover ($30-50,000!). I was devastated, hopeless - and misdiagnosed.
