Came in to see dr bowman for a terrible cough with multiple other symptoms and offered me absolutely no help besides prescribing mucinex dm (which the FDA is considering pulling because it is ineffective). I relayed multiple symptoms i was experiencing and very few were listed on the after visit report. I am not having congestion at all and he stated if I do not get the drainage under control can develop strep yet he did not offer me precautionary antibiotics in order to fight any potential bacterial infection.
