I went to Dr Been with a skin graft on my face after Mohs surgery. I was looking for a second opinion -Kinda after the fact. He felt the skin graft was not the solution for closing Mohs surgery. I went back to him and he cut out the penny size skin graft and closed it. Four days later it became infected. Dr Been had to cut around the incision and reclose it. this procedure left me with what looked like a 2 inch centipede on my cheek. He then had to cut the stitch marks off and reclose it again. I found Dr. Been to be a kind and sincere person. He took his time with me, fully described my medical procedure, which was to remove tissue from behind my ear to graft onto my nose after a Mohs procedure to remove a basal cell carcinoma. He patiently answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed, including my follow up appointments. Dr. Been accepted me as a Medicare patient and I felt that I was treated with the same consideration he would have treated a cash paying patient.
I was amazed with my results with Dr. Been. I have been bothered by my smaller chin since I was a teenager. Dr. Been patiently went through all of my options including fillers and a chin implant. He was patient and cognizant of cost. I was thrilled with my results with the filler! He aimed for perfection and made sure i was beyond satisfied. I will definitely be going back again soon!
Dr. Been will forever be someone who positively affected my life. Previous rhinoplasty from another surgeon left me broken emotionally and completly anxious in public. I was amazed with the kindness and sincerity i was shown. I cannot express enough how amazing the staff is. Professional and compassionate. Dr. Been put me at ease and had all the answers i was missing. His office runs seamless. Beyond grateful I have found Dr. Been. He is the one of the biggest blessings. Will always refer him!!
Mole removal scar looks great so far. I can't wait to see how it fades with time!
