I was sent to this doctor by my primary doctor to find out about my extreme joint and muscle pain. Dr. Hulsey told me he didn't know why my doctor sent me here. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis. This website says he treats fibromyalgia but I assure you he doesn't. He did not run any tests nor did he treat me in anyway. But they made sure they got my money upfront. Don't waste your time with this one.
We all search for doctors who actually care about us. It;s not easy. Dr. Hulsey is one of these doctors. Thorough, empathetic, knowledgable, kind, detailed, friendly, a straight shooter, . . . I could go on. If you're looking for a great rheumatologist, you've found him. I'm just hoping he doesn't retire anytime soon.
Insulting
I have been a patient of Dr. Hulsey's for six years. He is thorough, asks questions, and seeks to find the best option for relief for the patient. His staff have always been friendly and my appointments have been on time within 5 to 10 minutes of arrival. I would recommend him if you are looking for someone who is serious about what they do, and concerned with your quality of life.

It was just my 1st visit, so I do not have any answers yet but he spent an hour with me and was more thorough than I could have asked for. He asked a ton of questions and answered all of my questions without making me feel like I was taking too much time. I felt that he really cared and wants to get to the bottom of whatever is causing my pain.
