Dr. Handelsman performed osseous surgery on my lower right gum. I have medium to high dental anxiety, and he and his hygienist were very gentle and kind to me. He put a numbing topical on my gum before the numbing shot and I didn’t feel a thing. My gum has since healed and is better than ever! Dr. Handelsman is a skilled surgeon and just an overall nice person. Definitely make an appointment if you need any kind of periodontal work done.
Explained everything well, really knows gums and teeth. Blessed to have found him. So kind and patient too.
I have been seeing Dr. Handelsman for over a decade. His staff is excellent. Jane, who cleans my teeth, is not just a lovely person, but at the very top of her profession. In the rare instances I've needed emergency work, Dr. Handelsman has seen me right away and solved the problem with no need for follow ups. HIGHLY recommend.
He operated my healthy gum for my dental insurance. He used up my dental insurance. Do NOT trust him. He has a good hygienist from Dr. Binder who was in the office until he retired.
I went to his office for dental cleaning. However, he operated my healthy upper right gum in order to take my health insurance. Recently I found out my insurance is empty.
I saw Dr. Handelsman for periodontal work. The first time he did excellent work. The 2nd time he advised against the surgery that a dentist had recommended. I very much appreciated that he was honest and didn't perform an unnecessary procedure.
In order to obtain my insurance money, he operated my healthy gum.

Office is poorly run. Mistakes in appointments. Staff has had major turnover and attitude is poor. Doctor does good work but has a very abrasive manner. Prices are out of line with other providers
