Dr. Harper was very informative about my condition and answered all my questions. For a woman on the back side of 60 who has led a physically demanding lifestyle both at work and for pleasure, I am grateful to be able to continue my lifestyle albeit at a slower pace. The spinal surgeries were challenging but so worth it.
MIserable. Did 3 surgeries n 1 week 2nd to fix sciatic nerve he pinched 3rd to fix loose screw n I had never even got out of bed yet. Then infection set in so I got 8 weeks of IV antibiotics! DoNt UsE
Dr. Harper saved my quality of life, based on his thoroughness and experience. In a cycling race I was hit by a car going 45 mph from the back. After a mis-diagnosis from another surgeon that could have left me paralyzed, Dr. Harper was quick to analyze the situation, provide a course of action, and re-arranged his schedule to provide exceptional care. Did 3 back surgeries on my Mom and she is still in SEVERE pain and can't walk without a walker! Would NOT recommend this Doctor
I would not recommend this physician. I went to this physician in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic for back pain. The first thing that struck me was that neither of his receptionists nor Dr. Harper were wearing masks. I had to explain to Dr. Harper that I was wearing a mask to protect him. He just shrugged. He did not ask if I would feel more comfortable if he wore one. His exam was limited: listening to my lungs and testing my knee reflexes. He ordered an MRI and some x-rays. Very positive experience with Dr Harper and his team. Very professional and knowledgeable. Following surgery for debilitating back and leg pain I woke up with no pain. I would recommend Dr Harper to anyone with similar issues.

Dr. Harper is an expert in his art! I have had a lumbar fusion and a cervical fusion years apart and in both cases, he accurately diagnosed the problems and accurately described in detail what I could expect during the recovery periods. He has high expectations of those with whom he works, and for t hat, I am grateful!
